Hello, my name is Lesley.

There are very few times in my life that I haven’t shared with a cat.   As a child I first learned of the joy of a furry friend when a stray ginger Tom would visit us for a fuss, dinner and nap and then be gone again.   Then we adopted a beautiful tortoiseshell kitten, who was my loving friend for the next 18 years.

When I moved from my parents home into my own flat I was given two ginger Toms (Ginger and Marmalade) , who then made my flat feel like a home.  Over the years my children formed great relationships with my cats because they were taught to respect and care for them too.  Unfortunately Ginger developed diabetes in his later life and needed to be given insulin for two years.   Sadly they are both no longer with us.

Now I share my life with a lovely dog and a crazy black cat. I also run an arts and crafts shop/blog at tattythings.com where I have, among other things, painted portraits of client’s pets. If you would like to commission an original piece of artwork, feel free to contact me!

I started my Cat Sitting services in 1990 and even though I have moved several times I have continued to look after friends and neighbours pets. I have been feeding my current neighbour’s cats for the last 18 years and have two references available to view on request.
